Cape May's Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts now offers two convenient and affordable discount ticket packages. These packages not only save money but they provide the perfect schedule of activities for a visit to Cape May.

The Family Fun Pack is a convenient bundle of family-friendly activities. Available from July 3 through August 18, the Fun Pack contains a Family Treasure Hunt Tour Packet and admission for the whole family (two adults and all the kiddies) to the Cape May Lighthouse and Cape May Kids Playhouse.

Treasure Hunt!

The Cape May Family Treasure Hunt Tour is an adventure for the whole family! Discover the fun of exploring Cape May and uncovering its architectural elements from a kid's point of view. The packet includes a clues sheet and map that will take you on a self-guided discovery tour, set to your own pace. (The answer sheet is included). The packet costs $5 per family. The Cape May Family Treasure Hunt tour is co-sponsored by MAC and Preservation New Jersey.

The Sillies!

Bring your family and get a serious case of the sillies at the Cape May Kids Playhouse. Every Monday and Thursday from July 3 to August 18, the air-conditioned Cape May Convention Hall is the place to be for singing, dancing, theater and entertainment. There's lots of opportunity for audience participation in these professional shows for kids. There are two shows each day, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The cost is $4 for adults and $1 for children (ages 3-12). Kids under three are free.

Sentinel of the Sea

Climb up, up, up the 199 steps of the Cape May Lighthouse and see the Atlantic Ocean, Delaware Bay and Cape May. Hear stories of the Lighthouse Keeper and what his or her job entails. The Lighthouse is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from mid-June through Labor Day and costs $5 for adults and $1 for children (ages 3-12).

The Family Fun Pack costs just $23 and can be purchased in advance by calling 609-884-5404 or 800-275-4278 or in Cape May at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street.

Adults can save at least $10 while enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of Victorian Cape May with MAC's Victorian Sampler Tour Package. This package is available year-round and includes: Combination Trolley and Physick Estate Tour, Admission to the Cape May Lighthouse, 10% discount coupon for shopping at MAC's Museum Shops and a $75 Dinner Certificate ($37.50 for single). The Victorian Sampler Tour Package is only $99 for a couple and $50 for a single.
